Sierra Canyon Hosts Football College Showcase in Chatsworth
CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Sierra Canyon football hosted its 2026 College Showcase on Wednesday night at Sierra Canyon Stadium, bringing together four programs for an evening focused on competition, exposure and player development.
The showcase featured Sierra Canyon, Baldwin Park, Huntington Beach and Muir, giving athletes from each school a chance to compete on the same field in front of coaches, media and evaluators. The event created a strong offseason football atmosphere, with players looking to show their speed, technique and potential before the next stage of the recruiting process.
For Sierra Canyon, the night was an opportunity to host other Southern California programs while giving its own players a chance to perform at home. The Trailblazers have built a strong football reputation, and the showcase added another major event to their offseason calendar.
The format gave athletes a chance to stand out in a setting different from a regular Friday night game. Instead of focusing only on a final score, players were judged by how they moved, competed and responded during drills and live action. For quarterbacks, receivers and defensive backs, the showcase offered chances to display timing, footwork and ball skills.
