ORANGE, Calif. — Oaks Christian boys lacrosse closed out its postseason run with a CIF Southern Section Division 3 championship, defeating Dana Hills in the title game at Fred Kelly Stadium.

The Lions entered the final as one of the top teams in the Division 3 bracket and delivered a complete performance on championship night. Oaks Christian’s attack found rhythm early and continued to create pressure throughout the matchup, while the team’s faceoff play and defensive structure helped control key moments.
Chase Macleod led the way for Oaks Christian with a standout scoring performance, finishing with seven goals in the championship win. His ability to create separation, finish around the cage, and capitalize on scoring chances gave the Lions a major offensive spark.

Oaks Christian also received a dominant effort at the faceoff X from Trent Malan, who won 97% of his faceoffs. That advantage helped the Lions control possession, limit Dana Hills’ opportunities, and keep momentum on their side throughout the game.
The title marked a major finish to Oaks Christian’s postseason run, as the Lions secured the 2026 CIF-SS Ford Division 3 boys lacrosse championship. After the final whistle, players and coaches celebrated on the field with the championship plaque, closing the season with a CIF-SS title.
