Sveindís Jónsdóttir Becoming a Key Piece of Angel City’s Attack

LOS ANGELES — Since arriving at Angel City FC, Sveindís Jónsdóttir has quickly established herself as one of the club’s most dangerous attacking players.

The Iceland international has brought pace, physicality and creativity to Angel City’s front line, giving the club another reliable scoring threat. Whether attacking in transition, taking on defenders one-on-one or making dangerous runs into the penalty area, Jónsdóttir has consistently demonstrated the qualities that made her one of Europe’s top forwards before joining the NWSL.
